Summer grabs

This is absolutely my favorite

 window in my entire house.

It's the perfect peek to my backyard garden.

flowers blushing,  flowering trees, 

some filled to the maximum with 

green leaves and hosta galore. 

 Have you ever heard of 

someone stalking their own yard?

Please say you are guilty. 

I am all about a little alone time

 to reflect on my surroundings

 and

 focus on the importance of 

working with women of 

all ages in a church setting.  

Also, how grateful others are for volunteers.

It's soooo rewarding.

 It's a win,  win situation.

Summer is also bursting inside.

  I fell in love with this scarf

 knowing

 it would make a beautiful table runner.  

Oh, there is a little drama going on

 don't you think?

There is nothing wrong

 with

 pleasure in a bargain find.

and 

Oh my

the blue.

I added the pop of blue.

Anytime I see a bargain, I am going to scoop it up.

I have a soft spot for scarves.

How gorgeous is the runner draped on the chair.  

Can't stop admiring the wide stripes.

The runner ties everything together. 

 So many grabs, I can't wait to scoop up more.

I wanted my napkins to be a simple display.

Seasonal decor!

Hello and a warm welcome on today.

I know you have heard this  saying before "it was love at first sight".  Forgive me for the repeat, but the first time I laid eyes on this word art, I was in love.

I knew I would love it the same today and the same tomorrow,

It would fit with the rest of my decor,

and 

Yes, it was on sale.

The same thing happened when I glanced the pillow.  

OMG, I was in love again!

I wanted to share with you a few things I truly love.  

Seasonal love!

Since this wire basket holds my magazines in my home office, the pillow will find a new home  near the fireplace.

My Workspace

Hello Houz friends, 

Are you ready to see my workspace?

I get so excited when Chip and Joanna Gaines (HGTV Fixer Upper) ask their clients:  Are you ready to see your fixer upper?  

There are so many reason I'm sharing my work space.  There are so many new thrifty finds, repurposed items,  and the switching of items  making it my space.

I'm drawn to shades of grey, white, pop and pops of color.  I love color.

When you enter my home, this is one of the spaces that will greet you.

The Switch

It's the only thing found in 

my office with a full price tag.

Decorating with a chevron pattern

No space better portrys an early morning "eye open" than a bathroom with a soothing color palette design.  It doesn't have to be a perfect design,

just

full of  inspiration

 and

things that make you happy.

  It's our morning space.

  Right?

I spotted  this shower curtain on the

clearance aisle.   It was my inspiration for a redo.

The ladder, purchased from

 World Market

over 5 years ago, displays my towels

versus the towel rack.

 It reflects my taste. 

I always shop the clearance aisles

 and

 here are finds of a thrifty -holic.

I love this clothes hanger purchased at HomeGoods.

Peace and joy signs are after Christmas finds at Cracker  Barrel. 

 Don't they have the best breakfast?

Not going to be wordy on this post as

I want the pictures to

 do the talking. 

OMG

 I have a habit of buying hand towels,

especially if they are on sale,

and

this is how it pays off when I decide

to redo a space.

Welcome to Friday's Finds

It doesn't matter which word you use to define a bargain as no money was necessary.  Let's refer to it as Free Friday Finds.

As my sister and I were walking thru my neighborhood, we discovered a bargain.  It pays to take a stroll.

I was so excited when I saw 2 lawn chairs on the curb.  Wasn't sure if they were a "give a way" . 

Well, we completed our walk thru the community but I couldn't stop thinking about them.  I  had to find out if they were free.  For those who know me well, I love a bargain but didn't anticipate getting one while walking. 

After the walk, I drove to the street I saw the lawn chairs but didn't feel comfortable just picking them up as they appeard to be in excellent condition.  Little nervous but spoke with the home owner and he confirmed they were there for pick up and I did just that.  He even help load them in my car!
