Deal or No Deal

Do you know when to say deal or when not to take the deal while on one of your shopping sprees?

Well, when I saw this STAR at "Always Home" (antique/thrift store),  I knew immediately to take the deal as it was an eye catcher as I entered the store.  I purchased it asap.

Right size, right price , right color...

Another thrift purchase....priced right at $17.50 and I took the deal.  This set needs a little TLC and let the entertaining begin!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Spring

Hello Spring and Goodbye Winter,

Yesterday, we had a typical spring day. It's not officially spring based on the calendar but with 70 degree temps, lots of sunshine, flowers bursting with blooms and the earth releasing plants, in my mind it was spring.

Do you find it's easier to count by even numbers than odd numbers? Well, its as easy as 1,2,3.  

But when you are accessorizing with the odd numbers, it's as easy as 1,3,5.  You don't need the even numbers when creating a grouping. 

 

 

The accessory for this table is in proportion to the table size with a visual statement.  How inviting.

My favorite .... "Family and Friends Gather Here" which describes the atmosphere in my home.  It is displayed in my kitchen which is very noticeable to all who enter and becomes a conversational piece.  Unable to share a photo.
