Wishing you lots of "Joy"

Isn't it hard to control your emotions when a friend stops by?  If you are like me, you get so excited as you have so much to talk about and so much to show.

The visit becomes a show and tell moment and I enjoy each moment.

That's exactly how I feel today.  I have been waiting for your visit.  It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and could hardly wait for you
 to see it.

FIRST,

my trunk, decked out for the holiday.
Doesn't it look festive?

AND

the wire basket filled with pine cones, joy and love

Take a look around.  I will stop talking while you check out the tree  decorated in red, white and silver.  Loving the tin like ornaments from Michael's I purchased this season.

The season is filled with joy.

,

 O Holy Night,

Thanks for another visit.

Setting a festive holiday mood around the fireplace

Christmas Cheers!

This year I thought I would pull together a Winter Warmth fireplace for Christmas.

I wanted to create the perfect Christmas scene for my family to open their gifts and sing Christmas Carols.

I immediately began searching for all things white around the house. It was soooo easy to pull together a winter scene as I love to decorate with shades of white and copper.

However, I  was missing a white swag and a can of snow.  Nothing was going to keep me from my winter vision when a trip to a craft store is nearby.  Right?

Are you one those who celebrate a white Christmas?  We are currently enjoying light weight jacket weather.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

This is my wintry scene.

The lantern is often used as a
 centerpiece for my table.

The swag sparkles with glittered ornaments.
It was worth the trip.

Warm wishes
Thanks for the visit.

December 25th

December 25th, how patiently we wait for this special day,

when

all the merry wishes from others become a reality.

Merry Christmas!

Leading up to this special day, there is so much JOY listening to the sales staff wishing each customer a Merry Christmas.
  Sounds good to my ears.

and
shoppers  greeting you with a smile and the same wish.

What about the perfect  gift?

HAPPY as you greet your family on this special day;
forgetting all the challenges you faced during the year.

PEACE, that's what it is all about!

Sometimes preparation for this day begins on the 26 of December.

OMG
the anticipation
and it happens!
T was
 the night before Christmas

 the 25th finally arrives,
and
 you immediately forget the stress,
 the preparation,
as you

You begin remembering the sayings
that led up to this day

"O Holy Night"

You remember the sign
