There will be many footsteps up and down
these steps Christmas Day.
It will be too cold
for porch sitting, but a special gathering
will be
around the fireplace and table.

My ribbon is an old sweater I ripped.
the arm sleeves made a perfect
candle ring for the tall candlesticks.
